King: "If Cam struggles, the Panthers aren't going to cut him, that's not happening, also I don't think he's going to struggle."

King: "Their offensive line needs to hold for him(Cam) to basically have a chance to be a great player."

King: "I think a lot of people's jobs riding on whether Cam Newton has a good season." Says JR will be looking for head coach if he doesn't.

King on Cam: "For the Panthers to win and to win big, he has to be big himself."

King on Cam: "There's a lot of pressure on him this year and he knows it."

King on Panthers: "It's a team that certainly has a bright future."
