It might be helpful, but I think an outside guy who can spread the D and give us more running room would be a much better fit. If you line-up in 2TE sets, whilst it will aid the PA, will cause teams to stack the box more. We are still a run-based team, despite last night, and we want a relatively empty box allowing our skill players to make plays.

1st & 2nd-WR & CB either or in 1st then other in 2nd

As much as people cry about the OL, its really not overly horrible considering the condition we are in. We are down to our 3rd-4th string OG's. The guys who were projected to start are only in their 1st-2nd year in the league. Though raw they were obviously good enough already in the staff's eyes (who I trust over some arm chair coach) to start over these guys now (who doing a Solid job in the running game). Gross will be up but a Much better chance we resign him another year than us picking up a solid CB or WR in FA. RT is the Big problem but that can be easily fixed in the 3rd round.

It doesn't matter if you have the top OL in the league With a mobile QB like Cam, if your weapons fail to get open the D is going to get to the QB.

Now pressure has got to Cam numerous times this year but more times than not Cam has been able to get free. Even though he would get free ultimatetly get sacked hit incomplete int due to coverage sacks where no one could get open. One WR other than Smith could get open, most of those don't happen and people praise the line for a solid job. Cam is doing better than any QB in the NFL with what weapons he has to play with (Brady up there with him but you are talking about a HOF QB and Coach). Olson is a solid TE but not one of the top 2-3 in the league. Smith still one of the top 10 or so WR in the league. But with his age and loosing a step its much easier to shut him down with double teams. Lafell is alright but throw him on these other teams in playoff contention, he'd be 5th string at best now. Some of the worst hands and horrible at getting open. His one thing that has held him up here as a starter has been his blocking, and that is drastically dropping (see last night). Ev

And Even if we get a 1st round WR, I would still go after a guy like Nicks in FA if we have the $

Now onto CB. We still have the best front 7 in the NFL even after last night. Secondary is suspect. Captain Munnerlyn is Garbage. ESPN showed that he is the 2nd most targeted corner in the NFL. From getting burned deep vs Tampa to the long Wallace TD and long first down in Miami to constantly getting beat last night. He has to Go GOOooo. Only reason he should make this roster is if he can cut it in ST. Now this is an extremely Deep CB class this year. Even with our late 2nd pick, we should be able to grab a guy who'd be a first rounder most other years. Fuller is my dream pick here. Big and Extremly physical CB. With our front 7 and teams needing to use a lot of short passes in their game plan, he should thrive for us.

3rd round would love to grab another CB here with this class but if we can't find a vet who could be any better than Bell at RT, we'd have to grab one here. Can easily grab a solid RT here.

4th. Wishing Ed Reynolds would fall here. Not a super athlete but Great instincts great fundamentals and knowledge of the game. Again would fit perfectly behind our front 7.

After that grab BPA's
