Folks,

Right before the season starts we have an opportunity to do something special. I know this site does a lot of great things for Toys 4 Tots but we have another opportunity to do some real good.

A great friend of mine just found out his brother has colon cancer and he is only 37 years old. As a die hard Panther fan he has done something unique to help raise money for his bro who need help covering the unexpected medical expenses.

Sooo.... I present to you an opportunity to help out if you are willing and able.

He is selling (for charity!!!!!!!) Custom Canvas Cam Newton 9x12 pics for your man room.

All proceeds go towards his Bro. And YES I have purchased one..

A real true cause guys, no BS... I have been on this forum since 2005 and this is the ONLY time I have ever done anything like this, cause the dude is my bro, and no man deserves to lose his..

Appreciate it......

Joe

He is very talented and is willing to take request for any player you might want --- My next purchase is a Hardy one!!!!

(yes they are on ebay)

Fiz--- You might be right [and very insensitive]

his Bro went to the hospital after having issues with crapping and then they found the cancer.

He is only 37 years old and they removed a large part of his colon... Then found the cancer has spread so now after being out of the hospital for only days he has to start chemo....

Sad situation for anyone... and one that I wouldn't wish on no one...

Considering my Bro is an Air Force bro and didn't know about this site until I showed him, but only lurks- please refrain from being an idiot in this thread. His bro is facing serious circumstances... If there was a time for classy it would be now...

Yeah, mocking cancer patients so cool. As a survivor and watching friends suffer in great pain with cancer that is terminal is not a laughing matter.  I have watched dozens of friends pass & that comment pissed me off.  I got a few words for Fiz . Ignorant and rude how about you think before you type. Classless .

    • Corbett knows he needs to take a prove it deal and I think he will.  I watched an interview and he was convincingly adamant he wants to stay.  Two different injuries in two years was bad luck.  It's not like it was the same thing.  He knows the game and figures to end his career in a place where he is happy.  You can't really compare how Bryce did with Mays compared to AC.  AC was hurt week 5.  Bryce was on the bench after week 2 and didn't return until week 8. Mays is basically under team control next year as a RFA.  We could offer the right of first refusal for 3m.  I'd offer a 2 year deal which averages a little higher so you can manipulate the cap on his deal.  Additionally, I'd resign Corbett to a team friendly deal.  Many forget he has positional versatility like BC.  Corbett is only one year older, is two inches shorter, about 10 pounds heavier, and has arms that are one inch longer.  Corbett has played LT in college and guard/center in the NFL.  Ideally, bring back all three, but if BC gets big time $$$ AC and CM can battle for center and the other becomes a swing lineman. If we cut bait on Yosh Nijman we may be able to keep all three.  I'd sign up for that in a heartbeat.
    • As fans, we often exaggerate how bad our team owner is because we are so invested and focused on our team. We don't really see how bad other team owners, like Woody Johnson or Robert Kraft, because we are focused on the Panthers.
