Same guy that let's you post this hate and personal attacks. If we look good, great. My problem is we've seen this before going into a season (especially at DT in the past) where we go in so short handed and nothing is done to bring someone in to help out. Dwan was the exception on that, but how long did we have that problem at DT? Took a season and a half to be like "hey maybe we should get someone." I just think if no attempt is made to bring in some depth or a potential starter, DG might be throwing away this season to bring in his guy next year.

That's not a conspiracy theory. That's the simple facts of the roster. Gettleman is going to watch how this thing plays out before he really digs into it. Can't really blame him but he's not in win now mode like most fans are.

You expected a first year GM to throw fat contracts at Hardy and Lafell without evaluating them this season?

Plus, Gettleman doesn't have to worry about Hardy no matter what, worse case scenario is we franchise tag him.  As for LaFell he still needs to prove he is worthy of a big contract. He is sure worth keeping but he is not worth number 1 receiver money at this point.  We all want to see him this year to see if he continues  to improve.
