Coaches have admitted they don't game plan for preseason games.

Another melodramatic response from a huddler who over analyzes every single thing. We already know what Cam can do, and he makes plays. That's what he does, I've never heard a person not be considered great because he played short of spectacular in the preseason. Get a fuging clue, I don't have the time nor enough crayons to explain it to you.

You have your opinions and I have mine. I never disagreed with what Cam can do, I'm only stating that he should do it better, our scheme should be better. I hear the same excuses year after year. We need to find a  way to execute on a regular basis, converting 3rd downs and scoring TD's. Cam is an elite player with a very high ceiling, but he has yet to prove he can be clutch. It doesn't matter to me if it's practice, training camp or preseason. You don't become great by not doing the little things. Little things like throwing off your back foot, not squaring up, etc. Those things should be worked on now show that they'll show in preseason games and you should be able to see improvement and or the result in regular season games. snappy's porkchop sandwich in mt. airy next to floyd's barber shop.

 

super tender pork loin chop dipped in a sweet milk batter and then fried and slapped on a bun with chili and cole slaw and mustard and tomato and lettuce.

 

super messy and super tasty. same physical effects as a beacon burger.

Last year:

We were ranked #9 in Red Zone TD %

We were ranked #9 in TDs per drive despite being ranked 29th in starting field position

We were ranked 10th in Drive success rate

We were ranked #9 in Yards per drive

We were #6 in third down conversion rate

 

 

 

My question is; what the fug are you looking for??   Because the litmus test you provided above he has passed with flying fugging colors.

 

I mean, yes there is always room for improvement in a 24 year old QB, but give me a break.  He isn't yet Tom Brady, yet that seems to be the his measuring stick.

my mom worships andy griffith and drug us out to mt. airy when i was a teenager.  the wait at snappy's was almost an hour but it was worth it.

You play to win the game. No matter what.

We might not win this week but we damn sure better show were capable.

If not, don't worry you will benefit form 100 post as to why we will lose it all.

 

You play to win, no matter what?  So why don't we just play our starters every preseason game?  They give us the best chance to win...

 

I do hope we see a better showing on offense and defense than we had in the Philly game, but to pay even the least bit of attention to winning and losing in the preseason is incredibly naive.

Ok, I don't have time to sit here and argue with you idiots. Yes it's only Preseason. Everyone knows that.

What will be the excuse in nov? We need time to get going??

I actually coach football and as a coach there are things we do preseason to get our poo together but the message should always be win

You have to learn how to win

Winning is not a sometimes thing. It's an all the time thing.

Either you realize that or you watch the other team realize it and pass you by.

i live pretty close to there but i try to restrict my to snappy's. i've eaten breakfast there quite a bit when i worked in town a lot. that pork chop sandwich is good, but i don't like eating it more than maybe once a year.

I'm looking for what you highlighted in my post: "We need to find a way to execute on a regular basis, converting 3rd downs and scoring TD's." I'm looking for more wins, I'm looking for the Carolina Panthers to become a dominate football team and stop accepting mediocrity. We have the players, but I just don't see things pulling together. I know Rome wasn't built in a day, but we've have plenty of days to build. I'm in no way putting everything on Cam, you just so happen to respond to my post that turned into being about Cam. This is about the team as a whole! My team! I want to win. (and no I'm not talking about preseason)...Everything we do prior to preseason, leads to regular season. If we don't do it well prior to, how can we do it well going through...
