How many posters to whom you have already admitted to being more familiar with Mitchell's entire career have to confirm his reputation before you deem it "intelligent." You've dismissed any and every piece of information given to you as you sat around in your legless high chair as the self-appointed "rational" guy in spite of admitting both with words and most certainly with actions that you don't have a clue about Mitchell's career and have formulated your entire argument around "Well, he's a Panther now! we just gotta believe! can't judge based on that only game that I've seen!! huzzah!!"

Yeah I kinda agree, I mean obviously Oakland let him go for a reason.  Idk, I think the whole secondary (minus god) is pretty weak and gonna get exploited this year. O line and secondary have to be addressed next year.

As many here have said, it'd be nice if DJ Campbell continued to improve this year. The hope is that either Norman or Thomas continue to improve as well. Thomas may be too late into his career to expect significant growth, but Norman has demonstrated and the tangibles and intelligence to believe he could be something throughout his career given time.

 

We'll likely still need to add a piece in the defensive backfield next year, but it doesn't seem as if it will be as high a priority next offseason as OL or even finding a future WR1.

Quite. The general expectancy is that if you provide an opinion that seems to conflict with what is most typically believed, that you are going to provide some sort of basis for that belief. Being that Mitchell came here to Carolina with a reputation for dirty play and there has been a multitude of people here who have testified to this, I'd say you're the one who needs to do the digging.

Yeah, I didn't forget WR either, just felt like I'd be piling on if I brought that up. It's difficult but this team still has quite a few holes to fill. It would be great if we could get some of these young guys to actually step up.

Other then the preseason play and the Cam plays (which he wasn't flagged on). What other dirty plays does he have in your resume?

 

Like I asked earlier how many times has he been fined and is he in the top half of the league in 15 yard penaties and fines?

Neither of them were related to any kind of dirty play. If he got fined for something after the fact it did not hurt the team. If you go back to 2011 he had one unnecessary roughness.
