I grow less and less fond of Mike Mitchell.

Growl

Recommended Posts

Keep going you should look up the whole debate about TD and Godfrey having more personal fouls then Mitchell.

That Growl tried to debunk.

I had no doubt that Growl and his false ego would never admit how wrong he was.

I debunked that argument by comparing the amount of snaps that two starters had played in comparison to a career backup. If you'd like to challenge that then by all means.

I'm not sure what you're trying to say. Within the context of those posts, I spoke on Mitchell's reputation as a dirty player (accurate) him being a career backup (accurate) and him playing as a primarily as in the box safety because he had graded out poorly in coverage (accurate) and would be very interested to see how he would grade out as a player if he wasn't playing the best front 7 in football.

How frustrating was it searching through those posts trying to find me overstepping a line? Lol.

I was making judgements based on sample size and past history. Even with everything before, I still gave him a chance.

From where I sit this thread is a testament to how open minded I am and my ego grows ever larger.

You clearly didn't read your own quotes if you can claim that you didn't call him a career backup (with a negative connotation), a poor player, a dirty player, potentially one of the most hated Panthers of this decade, a below average player, not talented enough to get snaps, and by far the worst offense of claiming that others that didn't share that view were simply uneducated about Mitchell and his history.

The delusion is strong with this one. And the only "chance" you gave him were the qualifiers of "I guess i'll wait", which only serve as a back door means of getting out of situations like this one where you are so egregiously wrong that it's impossible to justify. The small margin of error that cowards leave so they can back track over their own malformed opinions like you're doing right now.

I was negative about Mitchell because of his past history. I said however I'd be willing to see how he panned out and even that we could use some attitude in the Secondary. I'm glad that his said history hasn't been an issue here,

Yes the history with less flagged hits then TD and Godfrey.

Lol DONT CALL THIS CAREER BACKUP A CAREER BACKUP ITS JUST MEAN.

I made assessments of him as a player based on his history. Anybody who wanted to dispute that quite indeed didn't know enough about him and his history. Eve since you've bumped this thread you've had other posters testify to this. If you're delusional enough to form absolute opinions rather than taking a wait and see approach with most things in life, I feel for bad for you overall.

Now's your turn to "own" something

Man, I must have been having a hell of a day. I think I got caught up in trying to reverse troll KT and let my vitriol get the best of me. But no excuses whatsoever, that was a historically bad predication and rationale. I'll take whatever lumps are deemed worthy for that one. Good find for sure.

What? What are you even saying here?

Yes, a backup who has played significantly less snaps than two career starters is going to have less penalties. though, if I recall correctly, even then the difference wasn't significant.

That's the one argument that continued to be evaded.

You know as well as I do that when you call a player a "career backup", the term "career" is important. Career implies that all he will EVER be is a backup. Career, obviously, covers the duration of his playing days including today, tomorrow, and next week. Clearly as it stands today, that is an incorrect assessment of his NFL standing. Care to debate that one? He's starting for a 6-3 team with one of the best defensive units in the league.

If you want to get caught up in semantics in this one, you'll lose. Because you clearly missed the boat on this player and your anger at being called out on it shows how far up your own arse you are that you can't admit it.

Yes the snap argument really doesn't work since TD first full season was last year and Mitchell was off and on for atleast 3 years.

Lol he was a starter at the time of my posting that. Clearly I wasn't speaking to his NFL future. I'm not accountable for your inability to process what is in front of you. We were starting a career backup. As much as was said.

Bonus fact: That was part of the initial concern about him overall, but wasn't even the point of my thread and only brought up to irritate kkl once he started prattling on about him because he loved his youtube clip so much.
