did you and I  even watch the same game yesterday?  Newton played the whole first half.  Anderson had a better completion percentage than he did.

 

I went down to the Rhondells concert with my kid and tuned in for the second half. I'm saying it really hasn't been an issue for cam in his careere even though this was supposed to be his big weakness. So I don't think he has become inaccurate all of a sudden.

I'm not saying get rid of Cam. At least right now.But if he regresses more....than that's another story. Gman said it himself! Start winning or don't let the door hit ya on the way out. We need effing winners on this team. Delhomme isn't nearly as talented as Cam but he was an effing winner (until tommy john).I'm sick of tiptoeing around this. Cam either starts winning THIS YEAR or he'll follow the same path as V.Young, Vick, D. Anderson, McCoy, etc. - off the team and somewhere else as a talented, but can't get it done backup in the NFL.

I highly doubt Gman is getting rid of Cam considering he couldn't even hire is own coach.

Funny thing is I listened to WFNZ this afternoon and every caller was saying the same thing - we as Panthers fans are sick of losing, we have talent and are putting this team and the coach on a short leash to say the least...

I don't think we should because we didn't play with our full strength. And they didn't beat us in all 4 qrts. The beauty of preseason. Some team goes 4-0 in preseason but don't make the playoffs. Not worried at all.

Speaking of which, who was that guy gutting our defense completing 9 out of 10 passes? I don't really know the other team's personnel.

You're right, they are different.  But its something to be concerned about.  Yes its preseason but I wanna see Cam make those passes no matter when it is.  And we have see his propencity to do that during the preseason, season, and when the game is on the line.

 

We've also seen him make throws to win games, which is amazing to watch.  But we are looking for improvement...and making those kinds of throws can win games.

 

Tom Brady should have made that throw to Gronk in the super bowl

Peyton missed a  guy across the middle after rolling out and throwing across his body to the middle of the field. etc

 

it happens. i think people are really over analyzing his game. lets not act as tho him missing a 5'9 WR on a 3rd and 20 play is a big deal. it looks a lot worse because the guy catching the ball is 5'9.Jake threw wounded ducks that were high and he got called a gamer for it, because they where caught.
