He was active for a few games.

Yea they activated him November 6th after placing Pilares on I.R.

So at no point in the season did they carry more than 6 receivers active...No big deal but something def. to keep an eye on as the cuts come.

Moving right along does anyone have access or know where to find the "gamebooks" for 2012? I'd be interested to see who the active 45 were each week. I remember Clausen being inactive every single week.

Being on PUP isn't like IR. They can be moved to the active roster at anytime. People are getting caught up in this 6 active WR thing and think it will come down to one or two of them simply being a roster casualty even if healthy.

We haven't had a real WR competition in awhile. Throw history out the window. We need all the help we can get.

Players who enter the season PUP can not come back "anytime". They have to wait until after our 6th game is played before returning to practice.

All that being said its def. possible that we do in fact keep 7 as insurance, especially since outside of Smith and Lafell none of our other receivers have shown the ability to stay healthy and participate in all 16 games.

Hmm...

I could see us putting kugbilla on pup and keeping 7 WR's until week sixish.
