I think the offense is a player or scheme away from being one of the most dangerous 3 or 4 in the league.

I think that may be the most important part. Lest we forget, '08 was the first time Davidson had a full powered offense to work with here and look what he managed to do with just the points per game average. 25.9 was the average for '08, as compared to 16.7 in '07 with no quaterback and 16.8 in '06 with no Davidson. He managed to get us back to playoff status, which we last achieved in '05 scoring about 24.4 points per game. Not to mention the franchise records that the offense set this year (most rushing yards, fewest sacks allowed, etc). Returning all starters, Davidson a year wiser to the system, a chip on their shoulder after the Arizona blowout, and a few new hired guns in the backfield that should contribute in great ways...damn, next year should be fun to watch!
