I need a lot bigger sample than one and a half preseason games before I'll be ready to buy into that.

 

My top question right now is how well this up temo attck will still be working around week thirteen or fourteen,

By then they'll be 13-1 so it won't matter.

man...the running game is the only facet of our team that has looked remotely good tonight.

Run game hasn't looked good. Occasionally, Williams makes something out of nothing. Zero holes. That is why we were wildly inconstant all last season running.

Pass looked good early on.

I can honestly say the level of going full retard in here has reached critical mass, I no longer feel the need to have brain cells killed in here anymore tonight so with that said good nite.

 

I think you should enjoy football and stop letting such things affect you so much

      Hope Koch recovers (he’s stated numerous times he doesn’t like to be called “koochie”) soon. But he does not instill confidence in the crease. I don’t have any confidence in any of our goalies, healthy or not. Andersen when available gives us the best chance to win but he’s never available.    Team has to explore trade options soon.

      Respectfully, I completely disagree. Last year we were:  32nd in Sacks. 32nd in Turnovers.  32nd in Rushing TDs allowed  29th in Scoring.  We were absolutely atrocious on defense last year and that was with a full stable of weapons in Derek Brown, Frankie Luvu and Brian Burns that played all 17 games.  Using yards per game as a metric to guage our success lacks the context that because our offense was so inept teams were not driving the length of the field, they were starting at their 40-50 yard line.  This year, our Defense ranks:  31st in Sacks. Tied for 19th in Turnovers  31st in Rushing TDs allowed 32nd in Scoring  His defense fails to get pressure, fails to turn the ball over and fails to stop the run. Three things you absolutely have to do to be successful in the NFL.  Denver meanwhile has not missed a beat without him.  If another team wants to hire him as a HC and the Panthers get two 3rds for it I'll wish him the best and pack his bags myself.
