Sorenson says Gettis "Perpetually" Open in Tuesday's Camp.

You people are crazy for wanting to cut Hixon. He made tons of plays and some really nice catches last year when given PT. I could see him easily par with Lafell if healthy (which he is projected to be this year correct me if im wrong)

Gettis is just to physically gifted and produced when given pt and healthy. Cant cut him.

I need to see Edwards do something in a real game more than once to anoint him.

Right now my WR depth chart would look like this.

Smith

Lafell

Hixon

Gettis

Edwards

Ginn

Adams

Pilares

We need to give Pilares the boot and keep 7. However I could live with Adams being let go as well.

There is no competition for our #1 or #2 WR spots...

Kinda sad that the most legit competition in a decade is who will be the 3 or 4....

Gettis might be competing for #3 this year, but if he stays healthy he'll be in legit competition for #1 sooner rather than later.

This team needs Gettis to be what a lot of us envision he can be.

I hope he continues to gain confidence and get a great rapport with Sir Cameron.

Love Adams, Pilares and Armanti all you want but 6'3 with speed is better than 5'10 and slightly less speed.

I guarantee you Gettis ain't getting walked down from behind by any punters

Rumor has it, Gettleman only likes to keep 2 QB's.  That frees up a roster spot but puts Pickles in play if true.

<Dear God.  There is this quarterback in the NFC South that I think is the greatest.  If you could see fit to watch over him and protect him these next 6 months I would be so-ever grateful.  He is a Georgia guy that played at...>

Pilares is going to be the odd man out. Everybody else has shown noticeable improvement and cutting a free agent signing because he was hurt in camp is not a good way to make yourself a popular destination for free agents and Hixon is the most "proven" of the questionables. Armanti has done good work, but this groundswell over a positive camp and 2 catches in a preseason game is somewhat surprising considering his body of work. I think Joe Adams is safer than Armanti. You don't cut a guy as recently drafted as Adams with as much raw talent as he has for a guy who has taken four years to come into having a decent camp.

You talking about the guy who hasn't done anything in 2 years and if lucky might grab the very last avaliable spot on the WR depth chart? That doesn't sound like someone just a out to challenge for the 1 spot

By this logic, we shouldn't have kept TD on the roster last year, cause at that point he hadn't done anything in a while.

Except Gettis has done nothing for his whole career aside from having two decent games two years ago. TD is a legit starting linebacker when healthy.

Seriously guys, who here would be really that concerned if we let pilares and joe adams walk. Also consider that drafting a top tier WR will be a priority next year.

The way the roster is looking we are in the now, what can you do for me now not later. Pilares has been here too long with no real impact, like AE, but AE is now on the rise with no honorable mentions going to pilares. Adams has fallen off the radar as well Yes we just drafted him, but teams can't keep everyone they draft for 2-3 years before the cut.

Smitty, Lafell, Ginn, Hixon, AE, and Gettis. Your 6 WR's.
