So we go from the "Gettis legend" from 2010-mid season 2012, then to the "Gettis myth" from mid 2012 (doghouse days) to the first pre-season game, now we're back to the legend. ugh. He needs to decide which he wants to be.

I think Gettis makes the team, he looks fully recovered. I think Ginn will be special teams only, I wouldn't cry over Pilares and Adams getting cut.

Armanti is short, weak, and slow.

Gettis outplayed Steve Smith by miles as a rookie.

Armanti has contributed only slightly more than you or I in three seasons.

The Armanti hate on the huddle I kind of get. He's taken up a roster spot and underperformed, considering where he was drafted. Not his fault, I get that, new position etc. I personally love the guy and hope he does well, it would be a great feel good story, but like I said, I understand why some resent him being on the team.

The Gettis hate I don't get. The guy got fugging hurt....

It hasn't been neglected, just a lot of the players we drafted haven't worked out for various reasons.

With our WRs from the past roster stepping up, I can't say I'm now impressed with the off season signings. Nevertheless, Pilares is basically useless at WR and Joe Adams. We could use Joe Adams just as much as Tedd Ginn. Neither seem to be awesome as Gettis at this point. Pilares isn't a factor imo!

Yeah but think about why they suddenly stepped up. Competition from the FA's. Also, contract year for AE and Gettis (and Pilares?). I love the legit competition and hope that Dave Gettleman brings in FAs every year to make it happen.

i really want to see what ginn looks like returning kicks. if he's nothing adams/pilares/edwards can't offer i'd just as soon let him go if gettis continues his ascent.

....and he was a 6th rounder in a passing league for a reason.

Gettis didn't outplay Smith miles. Smith played like dog poo and basically quit....and had more yards and receptions.
