Are we the only team who doesn't scrimmage other teams?

I'm glad the Panthers don't do it. I feel like it helps keep our players healthy and being that we are the Panthers we need to take every measure keep our guys on the field. Even though our team goes hard in practice there is a subconscious instinct to let up on your teammates and honestly there is an opposite effect when you are playing another team.

You know this board would go ape sht if Cam or Smitty got hurt in a worthless scrimmage.

@mortreport: Video evidence from fan, @ChadKopcak, appears to show Brady did have contact, Bucs DE Adrian Clayborn pushing LT Nate Solder into pocket

This is what happened to Brady, I have no desire to see Kerrigan or Orakpo try to do this to Cam.

Remember the hit Orakpo laid on Cam?  I still cringe at that one.

There aren't. It's actually pretty rare. Out of 32 teams, there might be two to four that do this annually.

The whole premise of this thread is misinformed.

agreed.

the more i look, the vast majority of teams just don't do it. there's teams that used to do it, but most abandoned it.

the OP's assumption is wrong on several levels.
