Anyone who thinks Rivera will be let go before the end of the season plays out is dreaming.   There is absolutely nothing to gain from that scenario.

Nothing to gain?  WTF are you talking about?  As fans who are fed up with the same old poo week after week, terrible decision making and game management, then after a loss it's all rainbows and unicorns and "aw shucks, it's a process, we'll try to get better.  We wanted them to beat us systematically, and they did, so the good news is we play again next week and we'll try harder."

Myself and many other fans would get so much joy knowing his sorry ass got the boot three weeks into the season, and the message to the fans is one of understanding that this type of result and game management is unacceptable.

Fug it, that's what I have to gain from it.

Placating overwrought fans who know little to nothing about how to run a football team,  has no corrrelation with management which actually does know how to run a football team.  Of the 32 teams in the NFL there are probably only 1 or 2 which are totally inept in their management - I dont think the Panthers are one of them.  You've had a combination of some bad luck, poor picks during the draft have set you back, and overpaid a handful of players which has hamstrung the current gm from bringing in more talent - but you arent in some sort of dire hole you cant work your way out of.  I dont think Rivera is a very good head coach and he will undoubtedly be replaced at the end of this season, however,  what good would firing him next week do?  What would it accomplish aside from making some vindictive fans feel good temporarily? Would it help the players get better?  Make the rest of the coaches on the team better?  Free up cap space?  None of the above - it would turn the organisation into a 5 minute discusssion on the sports networks about what a circus the Carolina Panthers have become. Some of you need to think instead of react.

Any wonder why our country is so fuged up when you have folks with this sort of mindset actually able to vote ?

Also I am disappointed in Ron for his pressers.  Good coaches take the blame.  Ron seems to put it on his players. Time to man up. (Past time actually)

I don't believe I ever really heard Rivera stick up for Cam once throughout these three years now.  Particulary when Cam was struggling last year and he got all the bad press.  Now, I'm sure he probably said something in Cam's defense throughout these three years, I haven't looked at every presser he's done.  Yet, I never heard any kind of definitive defense for Cam come out his mouth.  I find that despicable.

our system is fuged up because people think they know what they are talking about while avoiding the obvious truth staring you in the face:  the system itself is fuged regardless.
