Injuries Starting to Pile Up

Recommended Posts

Compared to some teams we've had very good luck with injuries so far. Knock on wood. The only serious injuries we've had to deal with have been to Zordich and to Bruce Campbell. Let's be honest, poo could be a LOT worse.

Time to bring some depth in for the oline....Campbell wasn't all that but at least he was a body if needed. Wish we could save all the cap for next year, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.

1 year deals won't have an effect on the cap next year. No one is going to be signed to a multi-year deal at this stage in FA.

They are still injuries none the less, and a minor injury can turn into a serious injury by returning too soon (ex. Jon Beason last year).

Agreed, though I think Beason isn't a very good example. He had a devastating injury to begin with.

Our situation is about the furthest thing possible from "injuries piling up"

The 3 guys on IR are nobodies camp fodder. Stew, same ole same ole, he never practices. For the other guys, missing practices in preseason is a routine precaution, better to let guys get 100% rather than push them in meaningless action and have them end up on IR.
