Soccer '13-'14 season

Reus has also proven he can play the wing. He is basically a total footballer from holding mid to a true 9. Doubt he's accomplished on defense though haha.

Yep, that pretty much sums it up. RM needs a defensive mid to replace khedira, a new 9 (I'm guessing Falcao next summer) a RB, and a young keeper to groom. Not a central attacker, or a wing player. Hell of a talent, probably will end up in the BPL....

Yea. I feel Reus could be a really good holding mid, but it kinda seems like you'd be wasting his skill if you put him in that role permanently. He may move this summer. Arsenal could be in the market for a new striker.

Exactly, if I'm getting Reus it damn sure better be to use his ability as an attacker and not ask him to play holding mid.  With that said, I'll gladly take Gundogan as the Khedira replacement....

Gundy has so much potential. I mean, he's already a great passer, but his playmaking ability from deep makes him special. He's a guy with a lot of utility anywhere in the middle of the field, and you don't feel bad about holding him.

Of course, Manure wants a double swoop of Reus and Gundy. We'll see.

RM apparently has right of first refusal on Gundogan, so if they want him they can get him. The question will be how much does United value him, and how high are they (and Madrid) willing to go?

RM drubbed Almeria today, but it was Isco's big day that grabbed headlines. The midfielder has been struggling to get significant minutes in Ancelotti's rotation with Ancelotti opting for Modric instead, but on Saturday Isco stood out. Isco finished with just a goal and an assist to his name, but it easily could have been three assists and two goals if not for poor finishing. Hopefully this performance will jump start him, and keep him in the rotation because he's a much better creator than Modric....

Spurs got exposed... Getting completely destroyed by Man City. I said before season started... It's a gamble spending over £100m and missing Champion League. Spurs loan payments for new stadium start next year. They have to make Champion League or they will be forced to unload few players.

And it's ok to admit you are loving every moment of this.... I would if I were a Gooner fan. But I don't think we'll be offloading, even if we don't make CL. Hell, I doubt we make Europa next year, but we'll find a way to get another cash infusion, including Modric payments, etc.

I had to turn the game off - it was fuging embarrassing. When they have 9/10 shots on target to our 1/8, it's time to shake things up. I can see an early exit for AVB coming soon if he doesn't get this poo straight.

Spurs fans were talking a lot trash before season started and everyone projected Spurs to finish above Arsenal. So yeah, I love it as Arsenal fan.

Spurs scored total of 9 goals in 12 games... That's insane! I'm surprised they are in 9th place. ABV cannot utilize his talent. He got very young talented team but formations and approach he's using us not fitting his players.

Everyone did project them to be above Arsenal based on the signings alone, but I don't believe I talked much trash (could be wrong, but I don't remember doing it). This was before you guys hoodwinked RM for Ozil, and he's been a beast for you guys. Yeah, 9 goals in 12 games is ridiculous considering the amount of talent we have. Not sure what's going on, but there is absolutely no reason we should be this far behind in points and goal differential.

If we don't make a top 4 finish, then rumor is AVB is out and (of all people, ummm .... don't believe it myself) Klinnsman will be their main target. Yeah, give up coaching the US National team for a mid-table BPL team? Not gonna happen.

Damn that was a good match between LFC and Everton.  Got very physical and we learned that Joe Allen is a fuging BUM.  Sturridge should've been in there from the beginning.

And that fuger Mirallas studs up directly into Suarez knee. Had Suarez been on the other end of that, the whole world would have been calling for his lifetime ban from European football. Completely inexcusable that he was allowed to continue.

Joe Allen cost us the points. That was a Torres miss right there. I could have scored that poo using just my junk.

It was the Gareth Bale show today in the Bernabeu against Valladolid. Bale had a hand in every one of Real's four goals today, with a hat trick and an assist. The "Welsh Wizard" is finally starting to find his groove, and adjust to life and football in Spain.
