Soccer '13-'14 season

They are a more rounded and deep team. Our goal this year is to finally get in the champions league and have to keep our mind set on that. If that happens we can finally address our glaring weakness which his in the midfield. If we were in CL this year we would've probably gotten Mikatyrannsasdfsdf (sp.?) or Christian Erikksen.

Rumor has it we made no attempt at Mkhitaryan or Eriksen. They don't "fit our style" apparently.

Juan Mata would be a huge signing in January if Chelsea lets him go.

If Chelsea lets him walk, I'd imagine it would be to PSG, who appear willing to offer over £35m for him. We don't have that sort of money. That may free up Javier Pastore to leave though, and he could be available for between £20m-£25m.

We may want to consider another holding mid. Lucas made SEVERAL mistake today.

Arsenal back 4 was one of the best in BPL over 1 year span. They allow less goals then almost anyone else.

Liverpool was the same way 2 seasons ago, and then with the same players last season they struggled. Arsenal is incredibly talented in the middle of the field. With that sort of depth, you can mask an average defense.

Squads with comparable midfields will be able to counter Arsenal's style. That is why I'm still picking Chelsea and City to finish above them in the table.

After yesterday's result still think we'll be lucky to finish top 3?

The Per, Kos combo is the best in the entire league. Sagna will always be solid and Gibbs continue to get better and better.

We also have Verminator coming in off the bench just in case one of our boys gets injured.

This squad is for real and come January we're only going to get better with some new additions.

You act as if winning AT BVB isn't a big deal.Napoli won, yes. But they were 1) at home and 2) playing against a 10-man BVB team.

And you act as if splitting with Dortmund somehow means something. Arsenal's weakness is lack of pace at the back and it will get exploited if they don't add someone in January. That's all DirtyMagic was saying and he is correct. By the way, in the premier league, the toughest test Arsenal has had was Liverpool it's too early to talk about being the best back 4 in the league...

Not to mention Liverpool squandered 5 opportunities by exploiting that vaunted Arsenal back line.

I think Arsenal is a good team. Finishing top 4 is a great accomplishment, and finishing top 3 is even better. I just think City and Chelsea will be better off down the road. It's a marathon, not a sprint. Especially in BPL.

It's so it begins... Internal drama at Chelsea. Hazard decides not to show up for practice... Mourinho freaking out and starts looking for Hazard, finds out that Hazard skipped practice because he partied in France the night before. Mourinho gets pissed and calls out Hazard thru world media. Hazard apologizes, Mourinho tells world media that he does not accept Hazard apology. That should go well in Chelsea locker room.
