The reciever battle

Recommended Posts

I have watched that pass against the Redskins several times and there is not one WR on this team that would have scored a TD. .Not Gettis, Tedd Ginn or Steve Smith. The defender had a good angle on Armanti.

The fact that people are still holding that over his head is ridiculous. He made a huge play and perhaps it's no coincidence that everyone is saying that he looks so much better than the year before.

4.4-4.39 is not slow at all. Deangelo Williams is a 4.4 guy and no one called him slow. Tedd Ginn has thus far proven to be a crap WR and he's one of the fastest players in the NFL.

Angles get broken when guys look to juke them and change that angle....try to make a play

Man don't bother yourself with objectivity on this topic.

did not translate to the field tho. at least not in the redskins or saints game.

Both of those plays the defenders had the angle and the sideline help! SMH!!!  :phew:

4.4 speed should be able to outrun some angles. especially that of a punter, and a guy coming from the other side of the field. i have seen that happen on every level of football played including in the NFL.

I'm not just pulling poo out of my ass. Pickles was designated as the emergency non-active third qb in every game. In the event he's needed the necessary time to enter uniform is granted.

That ended in 2011. If he's not listed as active for the game, he cannot under any circumstances play in the game. Before 2011 teams were allowed 45 active players and a non active emergency qb. Now teams are allowed 46 active and can use that last spot however they choose.

epic fail if gettis is cut... by the end of the season if played enough he could be question as #3 or #2. mark that down. he has hands in traffic and doesn't run his route awkwardly enough after the catch with contact. he is solid. pilares is useless. Ginn is a return man, joe adams is insurance for ginn
