Defensive pressure

I don't know if it is our players or defensive scheme by McDermott or both, but our D gets after the QB regardless who is out there...very refreshing. I'm very excited that our D might actually take pressure off our O. It's been a while since we've been able to say this. I know it's preseason, but the intensity is there.

Wait till the regular season when we're doing heavy blitz's with bump and runs. Gonna be turnover's galore.

Yep, they got after it tonight.  It was great to see.

 

However, I don't want to put a damper on the enthusiasm, but the Bears have had major OL issues for the last few years now.

Maybe their OL is weak, but they took care of biz and got 7 sacks...strong.

my lord i feel so good right now. football is back, i love the preseason. watching everyone on the roster from the top to the bottom get some playing time, and one thing that i noticed in the little bit of the game I was able to watch while at work and since i got home was pressure.

I think it is safe to say worst case scenario our D appears to be as good as we were 2nd half of last year. If Beason ever comes back...look out!!!

I was happy with what I seen out of our front 7 (1, 2 and 3's).

 

That damn quick slant is an issue IMO....

 

Norman looks like he really wants to win back his starting role.
