Tight Ends

Actually Blackburn is looking like a solid pickup and our draft seems pretty solid as well.  Overall we have a good sample size to have some homer optimism.

I was just talking about the TE position and being very facetious but going in your direction I will say this...I saw Blackburn at TC and he seems almost double the size of Kuechly.

I think he did well tonight and he is definitely not Beason sized.

Gettleman knows what he is doing.

He looks like he should be on the DL haha.

At least that was just the silly thought I had seeing him for the first time playing with us on TV.

I have to see more.  Williams has to block better, and of course hang on to the ball.  If he can do that, then of course his upside gives him the nod. If not, then maybe the PS.

I would think those are essential to playing TE. If he can't do those things he won't be on the team.

I have to believe some folks forget you have to waive a kid, hope he makes it through waivers, before you can put him on the PS. With someone like Brandon. That could backfire.

IMO, he has earned the right to make the team. He has done everything asked, and more.

Oh, and even if he were to make it to the PS. Some team could still poach him. He has impressed too much to take that chance.

If Brandon William keeps doing what he's doing he's going to make the team and continue to grow as the season goes along. Everyday we keep hearing how he's always improving so there's no way he'll be put on the PS. The Pats would jump on him quick, and with how their TE situation looks I'm sure they have someone in scout personnel keeping tabs on how he's been doing in camp. They wanted to bring him in for a tryout as well we just beat them to the punch though.
