It almost was.  Cam threw at least one second after his drop which to me means he should have been looking at another part of the field but was not.  While watching the play I definitely noticed him staring down the receiver and the other receiver wide open just a bit further up field (which means he had the time to get there).  LaFell was the other receiver iirc.

See, this is what I saw. A mistake by Cam, sure, but is was much more a capitalization on that mistake by the rookie than anything else.

Bad play by Cam all the way, seemingly Lafell was Very open, and AE had his man beat easily by 2-3 yards.
