I watched it too. Will be interesting to see what they do now. Show could have a completely new feel don't know if that's a good or bad thing.

Well, that's about the resolution I expected to Brody's story. Be interested to see the direction they take in season 4.

I've given this show a lot of patience and the benefit of the doubt on many occasions, mostly because:

 

1. It's filmed here and I love catching them around town
 

2. I have a thing for Claire Danes

 

The general consensus seems to be of disappointment in the finale. To me, it felt like one of those finales, similar to season 7 of Dexter, where they filmed it not knowing if it was a season or series finale. It wiped the slate clean in a very necessary way for either type of finale; luckily, we get at least another season. While it kind of stumbled to the resolution, I still found it very sad watching Brody's death and Carrie's reaction. I saw a crane over the tree line at the 277--I-77 intersection this morning. Gave me the creeps.

 

I thought this season was better than 2 overall, I enjoyed the finale, and I look forward to where they take it from here. No longer are they carrying the ball and chain that was the Brody story. So many possibilities.

I didn't think of this last night, but that's a great comparison to Dexter S7 finale. Also really interested to see where they go with like you said, a "clean slate"

I too like the idea of the clean slate.

Was sad to see Brody go, but they would have had to do it in order to keep it somewhat realistic and less repetitive.

I just hope we don't have to deal with Brody's brat daughter and all of her stupid drama anymore.

Also, with Carrie giving her baby to her dad, we don't have to deal with a baby next season.

They have done a really good job in all three seasons.

I do love the fact that they blasted through the pregnancy and then didn't have her obsessed with taking care of the baby.

I hated watching Brody die. After all he had been through, he was executed in a dirty country far away from his home. At least the only person in the world who cared about him anymore was there.

Is it just me, or does Quinn seem to be into Carrie?

He's always there for her, and seems to really care about her more than just professionally.

just a bump to say this show has jumped the dead hanging ginger and they should have left it there.

I dunno man... I am kinda liking this season so far.

It obviously has lost something, but I think they are slowly bringing it back.

I like this season. Carrie is crazy as usual.  Getting back to pure spy stuff is enjoyable.

 

Although I can't believe Saul fell for that in the last episode.
