Well, the fugtard that took my order set me up with the lowest speed.

 

He also forgot to mention the activation fee.

 

Anyway, I'm running about 3x faster than where I was and am happy with it.

When I worked as a cable guy we used this all the time, and you must select the location nearest to you which was Washington, D.C. for my company in Greenville NC.

When Washington, D.C. Wasn't selected, speeds could look MUCH slower than what they were supposed to be. Your computer can affect the speeds to. I used to prove this to customers by pulling out the really crummy test computer and pulling up the right speeds on it with to trickery.
