All I'm saying regarding Brady is that it would've been interesting to see what happened with Cassel if Brady wasn't able to bounce back from his injury.  The Pats obviously thought very highly of him or else they wouldn't have slapped the franchise tag on him as an insurance policy.  Brady is really, really damn good but that system really helps him too.  Don't forget, Jake Delhomme hung right with him in a Super Bowl.  Jake was quite possibly a shanked kickoff away from being a Super Bowl MVP.

Not worry about who gets cut right now its only been one game. Just happy that we had a good game and saw good promises from our team. But any whoo did anyone see that cheerleader when we came back from commercial break. Are cheerleaders are even showing strong promises this year. I think 2013 is it.

AE, Gettis, Norman, Dockery,Short, Addison, Blackburn, Roh, & Barner all impressed me. Barner stop that fumbling though. If anything we have depth everywhere on the D just need # 1 cb who knows in another year Norman could be that.

On that effin' note... who the fug is LOUIS NZEGWU? Jeez, was he that good, or was the Bears' O-Line that bad?

Bears O-Line is bad but I'm not taking anything away from him, he did great.

He will be one of our PS guys along with Roh in my opinion.

I hope he sticks around. This will only make our D-Line deeper, stronger and scarier.

Just a guess, but I think we go with Johnson, Hardy, Alexander, Addison, then put Nzegwu and Roh on the practice squad.

I agree. How has Addison looked? I didn't see much from him tonight (other than that sack, I think?)

Yeah he had a nice sack and I think he drew a holding call as well.

Nzegwu and Roh looked really good. Both are natural pass rushers. It's amazing how talented that defensive line is top to bottom.

Anderson Russell also really impressed me.

I think he was playing the free safety position, and to be honest he was probably the best safety on the team tonight.

I think they might stash Lester on the PS.

My reasoning is that he has been playing strong safety in practice and Mitchell and Campbell seem to have that position on lock down.

I think the back up free safety position might come down to Russell or Nakamura.

If Russell doesn't make the team, I could easily see him joining Lester on the practice squad (assuming neither gets picked up after cuts).

for those that at the Stadium last night ... Its preseason for the new stadium announcer LOL ... he messed up so many names and would not say the first name of Kealoha Pilares anytime he was involved in a play.

 

2 examples of his calls:

Chase Blackburn made a tackle with our offense on the field

Ryan Kalil made a tackle with our Defense on the field.

 

The new guy just needs to work on his names.
