With all this debating, can someone please provide one solid reason why Pilares should even make the team? Cut his ass and end the debate

Like I said before, besides the 3 I mentioned, we have no one else worth keeping. They're just as good as anyone else we pick up off the street. So we're really not helping ourselves much if we keep more than 3.

How do you know we won't pick up guys after cuts?

I guarantee you that we will keep at least four backup OL.

some of you are setting yourselves up to be heart broken. Only six WRs folks. If we are gunna stash players, its gunna be on the line. Say goodbye to Gettis or Pilarez. Gettleman has no emotional ties!

No is making the argument for Pilares, they're making it for Joe Adams because he had one good return in preseason... Just like he did last year before we found out be couldn't hold on to the ball.

Hell, I didn't see 2 worth keeping much less 3.

They will keep more than three OL with the injuries they suffered at that position last year. No one wants to be in the position to have to pick a player up off the street because you don't have enough of those guys on the roster.

Also, even if we add someone we can still have 7 WRs by keeping 4 backup OL and just going with 4 DTs. The WR and CB positions don't have a mutual relationship where if you add one at one position you got to subtract one from the other.

He has a legitimate chance to make the team.

You can talk about our current roster all you won't, but that doesn't take into account us adding players in cuts.
