Everyone arguing the special teams aspect needs to get a grip, that is Ginn's job... They we're obvious just seeing what the other guys could do.

Adams has proven nothing when it comes to the wide receiver position and with Gettis and Edwards stepping up along with Hixon who is guaranteed a roster spot, Adams will fall victim to the numbers game.

they will keep 6 WRs and Adams will be #6. Give the kid time to show what he can do at WR. How many years has Armanti been here before showing anything whatsoever?

He's been hurt but he was brought into be the number three wide out.

Adams can return the ball as good as he wants but that is Ginn's job, so unless he can play WR which Hixon has proven he already can in New York then he is gone.

Simple as that.

 

Seems to be the story of his career.  Better players than Hixon have lost roster spots to young, hungry guys simply because they couldn't get on the field.

If anybody seriously thinks Armanti has even a chance of getting cut, you're a delusional hater. He's not going anywhere. He is quite possibly the 3rd guy. Get over it.

 

Pilares is probably the most sure fire cut at this point, with Gettis and Adams competing for the 6th spot. (though it's possible we could keep 7, especially if we join 2013 and go with 2 QB's)

 

Also interesting to note that we didn't see any Colby Cameron tonight.

A couple more punt returns like the one he had tonight and he's on this roster.

If tonight's game was any indication, Pilares looks like he's on the outside looking in. I'd like to see Adams get some of those WR reps in the 2cd preseason game. Gettis and Armanti did work tonight. Hixon better get healthy because he may need to show something himself.

Adams had reps, I recall seeing him quite a bit out there with Clausen. If you mean giving him reps with DA then that's understandable.

Quality over quantity. Our oline depth is pathetic. I see only 3 backups worth keeping in Byers, Kugbila, and Campbell. Rest is trash.

If it's based on the WR position and not special teams it's going to be Adams and Pilares hitting the road. Gettis was the best WR on the team tonight.
