Excited about my date Friday

With my oldest daughter! She's 6, and freakin stoked! She loves watching highlight vids on YouTube, but hasn't been to a game yet. I must say I'm pretty damn stoked myself! Preseason or not! Section 513! Count us in.

I also shall make it my duty to teach her that it is perfectly fine to stand up and scream her head off during the game. As loud as she possibly can. ;)

get her started  young so later down the road you'll have an 11 year old telling any and every grown adult to piss off and watch the game at home..  on their recliner..  that is littered with cheese crumbs and wine stains.

coolest thing in the world is being a dad and getting to experience that kind of stuff with them.

 

this weekend is really cool for me because it's my daughter's 6th birthday. i remember her second day in this world, she and i sitting on the spare hospital bed in the room watching the panthers play the giants in preseason. i remember two days before she was born her mom and i (and the girls at the children's home we were taking care of) watching practice in spartanburg. we still watch the panthers together all the time.

 

congrats, on being able to do this with your daughter. this will be something you two remember forever.
