Ron Rivera's Training Camp MVP: Armanti Edwards

Recommended Posts

You also said you would eat a jersey and become a sex offender by running naked in a football stadium if he did well, I'm guessing your hoping he fails.

And you are 100% wrong. Tired of sitting through mediocrity as  PSL owner and whoever helps us get to the playoffs is good by me.

My football mind just doesn't see it.

But if he can secure the #3 spot it would be huge for his NFL career.

Kinda funny how in the span of two seasons we could go to a horrible WR corps to one of the best. Before you call me a homer, hear me out.

1.We draft our future number 1 in 2014.

2. Lafell improves to be a true #2

3. Smitty in the slot.

4.Barner and Brandon Williams will be receiving threats.

5.Plaxico, Ginn and Edwards as great depth.

I'm not saying all of these things will happen, but if they do I will feel fine about our receivers.

that #1 is a big deal and i'm not convinced that we'll pick one up next year.

While I'm not hanging off a ledge like some here, it's hard to be quite that optimistic.

If hitting on a number one WR in the draft were that easy, there would be a lot more of them in the NFL. Plaxico Burress, really? The guy is 35 and just had a possible career ending injury in practice with the Steelers.

Barner and Williams, who I like, haven't even played a game yet. Lafell, Ginn, and Hixon are all free agents next year. That leaves is with Gettis, Adams, and Pilares, all of whom may not even make the team this year.

Lafell looked better in camp than he ever has. I think they try to lock him up before midseason.

Ginn will be back next year if he does well, IMO.

If hixon is gone, so be it.

As far as barner and Williams I have to have faith. Barner looks like the real deal so far in camp and I think tonight will show more of what we can expect from him. Williams shows potential, he's already got great hands, if he can block as well then I think he makes the team and has a few plays this year.

Your argument for a number one receiver is valid. I'm just choosing to be optimistic and hope our scouts do their homework and with a little bit if luck we pick up our future receiver. He could be a complete bust but I don't wanna think like that.

What I meant was for your sake I'd imagine you would rather not be one of the pimples on family watch dog. However, if you are a UNC fan I pity you because you really do sit through mediocrity every single weekend.

But hey, if you have PSLs you must have a job your not mediocre at, there's something to hang your hat on.
