Segment coming up on NFL live in a few minutes on Cam's leadership

Seriously, when the hell has Cam ever blamed teammates for anything?? Am i the only that has noticed this crap is just coming out of thin air now??

Like I said, espn is stuck in the pre-NCAA decision on Cams innocence in being paid to play. They never moved on, and because they never moved on, of all the people Manziel has spoken to, the one the do a segment on is Cam. There is a pattern.

You are crazy to think we shouldn't give Dwill enough carries to get 1,000 yards. We were a batter team down the stretch when we pounded the ball early and often and it wore the defense out enough for us to have them guessing enough in the second half. Dwill had nearly 100 ypg those last 5 games we played that way as well.

Jeff Saturday should be working for someone else besides ESPN. He's too good of an analyst for their kindergarten antics.

Right after Cam segment, the Andrew Luck ***** sucking begins. Obviously the first they heard of the Panthers training camp was on their TelePrompTer. Espn is stuck in 2010 when Cam won the heisman.

My issue wasn't about the DWill comments.

It was mainly with him taking Kalil and Gross and then concluding that we have a "great OL."  That negated whatever else he had to say.

If you look at my threads from last year, I was a proponent of both keeping DWill AND of running the ball in a more traditional fashion to help Cam.

But, I will say that I think Saturday just mentioned Deangelo because that was who he is familiar with... He didn't mention Tolbert (you know, the guy that went on a TD rampage to close out the year), Stewart, or Barner either.

As you said, it was ill-informed, generic advice.

What do you guys expect lol? Of course we have way more knowledge than schleriff and Saturday about the Panthers, so naturally they sound stupid trying to give their insight. They are our favorite team and we spend hours of our time a week following them. They have 31 other teams to cover so I wasn't expecting them to give a deep analysis of the Panthers. I agree that we need to run the ball more and for Cam to be a little more careful with the ball but that stuff is obvious to all of us. Friday night can't get here soon enough! But them saying we have a very solid o-line was laughable

But...just but....it might be that we have a better OL than most posters on here want to believe.

The OLine played well at the end of last season....and that was with Williams and Bell on the right side.  Amini was light years better.

I don't know how our OLine will actually be.  But, maybe it is not quite the doom and gloom that this group wants to make it out to be.

I've been more of a doom and gloomer but I really want to be wrong.

Analysis doesn't have to be deep to be accurate.  All it takes to be accurate regarding things like Cam's growth as a leader and the state of Carolina's O-Line is about 15 minutes.

Lol, they made it out like we've been fighting amongst ourselves the entire TC also.  Then mentioned how it escalated into an all-out brawl on Tuesday...

Then NFL Live shows a fight at Packers camp and they are laughing about it and how that only shows your team is ready to play someone else.

That just shows how much ESPN is trash

Espn pushes the same tired talking points over and over. It's embarrassing for them. I think any somewhat intelligent nfl fan understands them for what they are. They are a pop culture catch phrase network. They scrape at the surface of real analysis but don't put enough time in with teams that don't drive the needle. Hence, they bring up talking points from 2 years ago and know that the majority of big market teams won't catch them saying stupid drivel or furthermore don't care.

Regardless, they can go fug themselves sideways with a barbed wire lady-toy.
