I have nothing against either one. Tiger probably comes across as the bigger jerk but winning tends to make people forget these things.

I wasn't suggesting you were, more pointed at some of the Tiger haters here.

Cracks me up, they piss and moan about too much Tiger coverage.

"I watched the last hour of the Tournament Sunday and all you saw was Tiger, Tiger, Tiger. Meanwhile there's only 3 groups left on the course, most of the players have fallen out of contention and Tiger is winning again.

Woods has only enetered 11 Tournaments this year, has won 5 and finished Top 10 seven times.

Closest competitor is Phil with 2 wins, sorry everyone else can't compare to Tiger as a golfer.

KG is talking about me...  I'm an unabashed Tiger "hater" :)

I'm not ashamed to admit it.

I've seen Tiger in person be really cool to the fans.  I've also seen Tiger in person be about as big of a douche as you can be.

I've seen Phil in person be really cool to the fans...  I've uhhh... not ever seen him be a douche.

Having said that (and I've said this before) Tiger is unquestionably the best golfer of his generation and arguably the best golfer ever (although I personally think Jack still edges him out).

Phil *could* be that guy, but his style of play and the fact that he's much more family driven (go ahead and argue that one with me, I'm waiting) than Tiger has prevented that from happening.

My other gripe is the media coverage of Tiger.  I've literally seen ESPN and CBS follow Tiger when he's not in contention, mention him relentlessly when he's not in contention and do things like, when Bill Haas hit what I feel was one of the greatest golf shots OF ALL TIME, out of the WATER, to win not only a tournament but the $10 Million Fed Ex championship and ESPN literally mentioned it in passing on Sport Center.  It is beyond ridiculous.
