No. But I would imagine a coach would not be pleased even it is enforced on the kickoff. You're risking great field position for the opponent.

I used to respect Roger Goodell, recognizing that he is in a tough position that demanded tough calls. Now it seems like he just has too much time on his hands.

Well remember the kickoff was pushed up a few years ago, so it's not like Gano isn't used to kicking from further back.

Regardless, it's not a good idea to do just because it shows that a player is trying to be bigger than the rule.

However, if Steve spins the ball, Tolbert does the dougie, or Cam does the super man; I'm not gonna sit there and bitch and complain about 15 yards on the kickoff.

How friggin lame is that? I switched favorite sports from soccer to Football because of the physical aspect of the game, the intensity it brings with it...those kind of celebrations are a way to express those feelings and bring an extra dimension to the game. Now they are going full retard and leave those out? Man that sucks.

For all of you over-reacting, the rule states that you can't do those things as a means to disrespect or taunt another player.  They aren't saying you cant celebrate, you just cant do it in an opponents face.
