... and there just so happens to be 20 starting caliber Guards just sitting on their couch waiting on a phone call.

 

I believe these mythical guards that you speak of reside in "Imaginationland" peacefully coexisting with unicorns, Disney critters, and ManBearPig.

I replied sarcasticly, yeah, there are at least 20 just waiting to be signed.

The point of the sarcasm was to express that there is NOTHING out there now, we would have wait on cuts. Hate to explain sarcasm, kinda spoils the whole effect

I think Wharton and Moore are not out of the question yet to be brought in. As I seen one person suggest on twitter. 33 old vets are not rushing to sign because they would want to avoid as much of training camp as possible.

I have a feeling there is not a long line of teams waiting to sign either of these guys for the multiple year big contracts they are looking for.
