Mike and Mike have us 8-8 & 9-7

i think there is a lot of people overreacting to oline because our Dline is dominating them in practice but we thought going into this season that our Dline could be the best in the NFL so that makes any evaluation we have now skewed, I want to see our oline versus another teams Dline before I make a judgement.

I have paid little attention to practice....that doesn't cause me to worry about the OL.

The fact they were manhandled last year to start the season even with a healthy Kalil does....the fact all season long last year they struggled to open up holes and pass protect. People watched the last game of the season and suddenly thought we should of ran more all season.....forgetting the RBs had nowhere to run the majority of the year.

I also think our DL, which very good with great potential.....is now starting to become an unrealistic thought. From a pass rush perspective they were arguably the best last year generating better pressure than anyone.....but the secondary still lost us games. Very worried about this secondary

Florence and Captain gives me less concern than Captain and Norman. Plus Moore at the nickel. Much improved in my opinion.

Nickel Captain doesn't worry me.... #2 or #1 Captain does. Issue is all we have are decent nickel options.

Captain can cover and he will make plays but you can't teach height. If we took him and put him inside of Norman we'd be fine. I take comfort in knowing to beat Captain the qb is going to have to make a great throw and put the ball in a spot. That's a lot harder to do with Hardy and CJ coming at you.

How is that different than last year as our secondary blew games?

Sounds reasonable to me. I do believe that we are team that will be anywhere between 7-9 to 11-5. We have too many question marks going into the season and we will get a better idea of those question marks after our little baptism by fire start to the schedule.

8-8 for sure.

 

I think 10-6 and/or playoffs saves him.

 

We have playoff talent and finished like a playoff team last year. 

 

Missing would be 5 years in a row and 1 playoff game in 8 years. JR can't be ready to sit around and watch this.

i don't see him being fired unless another losing  season, tho.
