Considering that highlight reels from the era only focus on Unitas and the offense, it's easy to forget Baltimore even had a defense, much less a dominant one filled with people who defined their positions.

 Sure did.... Big Daddy Lipscomb and Gino Marchetti just for starters.

 

My grandfather who lived in Baltimore got us a white football used for night games. Complete signed by the 67-68 Colts?  Not exactly sure of the year but late sixties.

 

Has Unitas, Bubba Smith, Tom Matte, Lenny Moore, Mike Curtis, Raymond Berry and many more.  I think 6 or 7 Hall of Famers are on it.   My oldest Brother has it in DC.  What a piece of NFL history that is.

 

I remember we went to training camp one summer.  We got a polariod of Unitas doing exercises.  Really old pic.  My grandfather was a teamster in Baltimore and the team had a feast and we were there.  I remember tons of Eastern Shore Crabs.  I was probably 6 or 7 so the memory is vague.
