Smith and Gross should be captains until they retire.  No offense to Cam but he said it best himself "everybody has a microphone".  You don't need to be voted a captain to be a leader.

I think Cam would make a fine captain. But, I just don't see Smitty and Gross losing the position.

Usually I would agree but I think the torch needs to be passed to Cam.

That's the way I see it as well. We hear so much talk about what Cam needs to do if you want to put everything on his shoulders put the C on his chest.

Offense : Gross, Smitty, Cam...then Smitty is laible to say "Cam is ya'll Captain, I'm just an advisor or some such" privately.

 

Defense: Luke, Davis/Beason, Godfrey

Don't explode on this but with Gross contemplating retirement after this season(if the Panthers decide not to bring him back) it would go a long way to hand it over to Cam.
