often I'm curious how these few get off by consistently posting on a forum who should be jaded, if not completely desensitized, by trolls and how exactly they get off by these failed attempts to get a rise out of this forum...

By the time he is being considered....his standing in total yards will have dropped. That will hurt....his only chance would be ring or rings and setting some postseason records.

Hall is largely a stat thing.. a couple more regular season yards to add wont give him a HOF resume.

Right now, his numbers are comparable to Satana Moss.

If it's based purely of stats, Smitty will be in the Hall.

If you currently look at his stats, they are very, very, similar to Michael Irvin's.

 

That and the fact EVERY game plan against the Panthers is to shut Smitty down. 

 

What is it Jon Gruden used to call him Freddie Krueger?  "Scares the hell out of me."

 

I think so many people forget that the criteria is not only numbers but how he affected the game.  Like I said above.  Every gameplan includes Steve Smith.
