its funny that the panther that has probably the best chance of making the hall of fame is a homegrown product, that played at unc, and he didnt even want to play for his homestate team.

i wonder why? do you think it was because of the panthers losing tradition?

or do you you think he was tired of playing for a coach that he knew didnt have it, and had lost his chance for a ring by going for 2 point conversions with almost a quarter of football to play. { each team scored 4 touchdowns and kicked 1 field goal and the panthers still lost }. hilarious!

or do you think he was just tired of playing in front of the visiting teams fans every home game because he was playing for the team with the sorriest fan base in the nfl? a bunch of wine and cheesers.

regardless of the reason, he had plenty to choose from, its classic!

Steve Smith didn't end Anthony Bright's career.  Bright ended it himself...by not being good enough.

well im sure that sucker punch your boy steve smith delivered sure didnt help mr. brights career any. and your boy had to pay for the injuries mr bright sustained during this assault also. steve smith will never sniff the hall of fame, and rightly so.

you can say that again, and that has as much to do with him not getting in as his shortcomings in the numbers department. most obnoxious, over the top, jive, ready to fight player in the league. only player in nfl to assault multiple teammates, and actually ended a teammates career with a sucker punch in a darkened film room. he is a testament to the woeful lack of appealling players in panthers history, when he is your best chance at the hall. he wont even sniff the hallowed hall without buying a ticket, and with his reputation he still might not be allowed in. its a joke mentioning his name in the same sentence as the hall of fame. forget about it!

Jive, lol.

A colt fan with no life who occasionally comes over here to try and stir poo up. Just let him go with his arrogant and flawed views. He thrives on attention and "debate"... In other news, one day, I really do hope Smitty gets in. I live out of market, and all the Charger fans around me were fapping when the rumors of his being traded to SD were floating about. Smitty's play is legendary, and hopefully that makes him a legitimate candidate in the future, provided he's still playing at a high level to finish his career.

Probably got him more attention than he'd have received based only on his on field performance.

And by the way, this is pretty pathetic on your part.

holy poo, did you really make a new account so you could avoid admitting freeney is a one trick pony?

The panthers losing tradition - the one where they went 71-57 while pep was a panther? (3/8ths of those seasons the Panthers played with QBs such as Rodney Peete and David Carr)

my guess would be that he wanted to do more than pass rush... kinda like what he said he wanted.
