I start my new job 14 days from today, so yeah I know the feeling, super stoked!

of course there is the background check and drug test but im not worried about either. so long as they don't do any internet cache searches and land on the huddle....umm...DEAR GOD I'm doomed. :lol:

 

 

one day i will share my long journey financially speaking and it will be clear why yesterday was so emotional for me and my fam.

one thing i forgot to mention on this. i did the obligatory follow up email after the interview and then i didn't do anything for 2 wks. they didn't call or email me and i them.

 

but the day i called, they called me right back and set up another phone interview and that person didn't make the call and i emailed the recruiter and said no worries things happen. then the next day the hiring mgr called and apologized and said oh and you will report to me and we are offering you X.

 

it was as if they were just waiting on me to respond. honestly im still in shock with how this all  as transpired.

i don't wish my old job on anyone. i really didn't want to leave that comp but after 24 postings internally and not even a phone interview and i use the SAME resume OUTSIDE and they are on me like a cheap suit, what am I to do? had to act.
