A player isn't going to go to a team where he doesn't feel welcomed, especially with Gettleman only offering vet minimum contracts.

you don't cut someone to give someone else who's already on the team a chance. all you'd have to do is sub them in/out. there has to be more going on that they don't want to talk about. big shock there.

my point was that you don't cut someone with the sole purpose of giving a chance to someone already on the roster.  I'm in total agreement with the cutting of Hangman, and was showing that the act of cutting him suggests that there are other plans in the works.  Maybe it was just for cap space, maybe it was for roster space.  We shall see...

So explain to me how we're going to sign Moore or Wharton on a vet minimum contract, while sending them a message that we aren't interested and our primary focus is on our young players.

He's the guy evaluating talent on the team and I trust his decisions. There's literally no way to know how this pans out so stop freaking out so much.
