Pro Bowl changes

This is kinda interesting to have it done draft style, but it wont help teams like ours get recognition.

 

Although I guarantee Deion will take Cam.

 

Also, they need to eliminate Pro Bowl counts as statistics for players. It's just stupid and pointless. Just have All Pro teams as a statistic, rather than "Troy Polamalu made 20 Pro Bowls despite actually being good for only 3 of those years."

 

Completely agree. I'd like to think that by this point, many of the NFL writers, hall of fame voters, and higher-ups completely disregard this stat by now. Not sure who remembers the 2010 AFC ProwBowl QB situation but Brady, Peyton, and Rivers got voted in, then none could play (Brady and Rivers faked injuries and Manning was in SB), so the NFL put in 3 alternates: Schaub, Vince Young, and David Garrard. (Just an FYI, Garrard passed for under 3000 yards and had 15 INT that year).

 

With that, 6 out of the 16 AFC QBs made the probowl that year (almost 40%). Also, 5 NFC QBs made it that year as well, totaling 11 QBs who got voted into the probowl in 2010

Why didn't they just do away with the Probowl already?  Money must be involved somewhere in this.

It helped the NHL. Now there's no dominant conference. They should really do a skills competition. I miss the old QB challenge.

Don't see how this will change the game any.  Just make it flag football and let them have fun.

Why didn't they just do away with the Probowl already?  Money must be involved somewhere in this.

 

 

I know Hawaii pays the NFL to play here.  But Hawaii makes the money back with all the fans and players spending money here.
