Steven A. and Bayless on Cam controversy

After just 3 years for a guy this talented, talk about high standard. High stats will culminate to wins. And Cam was winning last year and the D and Rivera gave up maybe a good 2-3 of those wins. It's scary thinking what that new direction would look like. Kolb? Sanchez? Cassell? Linart? Grass is not that green on the other side.

Only replacement for Cam I'd probably look forward to would be Teddy Bridgewater. That dude scares me with his accuracy.

You speak the total truth. And I agree whole heartedly.

Lucks defense, did a much better job of preserving leads than the Panthers ever did for Cam, regardless of how they were rated. This is even when, Luck had a terrible QB rating down the stretch last season. You're right. People do forget this, over look this type of stuff.

Ironically; I wonder, if all these Luck/Win devotees, will be seen in 2013, if/when the Colts' have a quite probably correction/bounce down year this upcoming season?

I guess they'll find another metric, or statistic, then?

They'll call it sophomore slump. You know Cam is the standard.

Every time someone posts about Cam needing to win and compares him to Luck's record I am going to re-post my post from months

ago.

We don't follow logic here, we defy it. By listening and tuning in to Person and ESPNs garbage, we are all encouraging them. By doing so they are dividing the huddle and will soon conquer. However the divide seems to be split between those who can read and comprehend what they read beyond the intended message, and those who read and gobble up the intended message. Every sense cams story about soliciting money from auburn broke on espn, they have been hounding him and now have been hounding this team.

Be a fan and don't follow person who is obviously trying to impress espn for the next available blog spot.

We go the way of the ability of our defensive tackles to stop the run. Cam will get his, and will have us in the game. We always played zone to cover our DTs asses last season and it didn't work. Open your minds, wear your black and blue, and help this team win some football games.

wow, andrew luck finding his way into a thread regarding steven a. and skip discussing cam controversy.

luck and the colts early success is very troubling huh?

    • First of all Sooners fan? Mods? Second if you think someone needs a specific reason to hate Texas you don’t watch real college football.
    • 100% even if rest of team is really talented if they march young out to be qb and he plays like he has for 90% of his starts the panthers have already lost doesnt even matter how good the rest of the team is or isnt and also makes it hard to even tell how good they are.  They need true competition for young this offseason.
    • It will be awesome to have an improved stadium to lose in I guess....   https://www.yahoo.com/news/panthers-file-rezoning-bank-america-111500840.html     The Carolina Panthers have taken another necessary step toward renovating their home of the present and future. Panthers Stadium, LLC, filed its rezoning site plan with the city of Charlotte on Monday, initiating an important — if mostly technical — step toward renovating Bank of America Stadium. The filings state that the rezoning relates “primarily to technical aspects associated with improvements to Bank of America Stadium,” and that the rezoning is required because “the current stadium zoning is out of date” for the team’s stadium renovation plans.   The planned stadium updates include new seats installed throughout the upper and lower bowls; stadium safety and security enhancements; a reimagined South Lawn Pavilion; upgraded restrooms; exterior enhancements (including LED video boards) and more. Planning for the stadium renovation project will continue through 2025, with construction starting in 2026 and the renovation’s conclusion in 2029, The Observer previously reported.
