The Decline of Modern Journalism

If you havent been paying attention to whats been goin on the last 2 or 3 years with journalism then youve been missing a serious ass kicking. TV is hemorrhaging viewers and they dont know how to keep you watching anymore. As tablets sales and smart phones spread more and more, people are getting their information in other places. 99% of huddlers know this and come here because of it.

Yet there are still those that come here and quote news articles to inspire discussion. Thats fine as long as you understand that they are horribly biased due to the fact that THEY NEED VIEWERS. They will say anything they can and use whatever is the most popular buzz words to piss you off or suck you off to keep you watching. Guys like Adam $chein, Sapp, Bayless, and Dukes get paid big dollars to do one thing: stir things up so that people come watch. It doesnt matter if its right or wrong as long as people are watching. THIS, is the agenda of many modern news stations.

The reason why Cam gets so much hate is because it sells more, period. You guys lost your minds when Dave Dame spit on our unis in that contest. GOOD FOR YOU! I salute you and enjoyed participating, but it didnt piss NFL.com off. It didnt really piss Davey boy off either. He probably got pats on the back when the execs saw that they got an million clicks on their site every single day that contest went on. Do you really think NFL.com is mad that they got MORE clicks? NO, rather they saw that when you speak shitty of the Panthers you get more hits. Now they will make it a point to do so at every occasion. They know that we will watch it, get pissed, and cant wait to watch another asshole so that we can make our shitlist.

The NFL journalism/marketing team (do they still label themselves as separate departments?) knows that some teams dont have this kind of backbone. Much as you guys dont like it, the Saints fans do, they showed it. Inbred idiots standing up for something completely malicious and wrong, but they were there. The Saints just dont have much longer left in the limelight and the clock is ticking on how much longer they can make money off them. Soon people wont give poo about the Aints when Brees is gone.

The Fucs and the Falcants dont have the same support. The fans in those "markets" are more cautious about there faith in their teams. They know Freeman could be a problem and they know that Ryan has taken them to exactly one win in the playoffs after being there 4 times. Sure the crazy hardcore fans come here and try to start poo but thats not the norm. Most of those people in those states are watching their teams and thinking "Whatever, its not like theyre going to win". NFL.com has taken it upon their shoulders to make sure that they give confidence to those fans so that they will stay tuned and continue buying poo (or watching their ads). They are calculating hits on their website everyday to plan their next marketing strategy.

The solution is to use your head whenever you read nonsense. Stop encouraging people that use hate and spread it like a disease. Walk tall Panthers fans, WE are the team to beat. WE are the monsters from down deep. . . and WE will beat the fug out of anyone we meet.

uhmm. . .yeah, sure, or just dont read what I wrote and post.

Journalists suck because they waste all of their time trying to post things first on Twitter and arguing with their followers. They don't know how or don't care about being insightful anymore.

Journalism these days suck because the majority of journalists are lazy and live inside their own echo chamber. The echo chamber creates false narratives that result in confirmation bias in story telling and then lean on one another for support.

Some journalists also get off on self gratification because they know if they write a scathing article they will be asked to be all over sports radio to discuss it and gain exposure.

This is particularly true in sports media.

Cmon T, you cant generalize and say they're all lazy and too sheltered. Many of them are looking watching calculating and planning.
