Nelson Rosario cut, former UNC TE signed.

Stoked.  Pianalto was GREAT at UNC.  Had some unfortunate injuries, but nothing recurring.  Hopefully just bad luck.  We're obviously looking for a better receiving option at TE because that's what Pianalto was at UNC - a receiving TE.

Edit:  Weird that they're talking about blocking and went out and signed Pianalto.  He's not a terrible blocker by any means, but he's definitely a receiving TE.

he's a threat.  great hands and prefect instincts for getting open.  he can hold his won on the line but he definitely not a road grader.  That makes his deadliest asset the chip and release on dump routes.  This guy will 4 yard you to death.

Some injuries.  The most significant was a lower leg issue that occurred during a celebration in the endzone.  I don't think there were any recurring or nagging issues.

I can't wait to see what he can get done in camp.

Looks like they want two way tight ends. If so, Hartsock's writing might be on the wall.

So what are you guys thinking about the TE depth chart after Olsen? Would it be Olsen, Williams, Hartsock, Pianalto or Olsen, Williams, Pianalto, and Hartsock?

Hopefully Olsen, Williams, and Pianalto at TE. Cut Hartsock and have Brockel as a backup TE/FB.
