Kurt said that fair or not, since all the rookies were able to take their teams to the playoffs, the other QB would be held to that standard and I think so too. At the end though, Rich Eisen said that Cam does not play defense so people should keep that in mind.

I remember between '04-'06, the media loved the Panthers.  And what do you know, the Panthers were competitive those years.  Even in '04, after starting 1-7, they had a chance to make the playoffs in Week 17.  Sports Illustrated put the Panthers on the cover before the 2006 NFL season as Superbowl favorites.

Winning cures all ails.  And seriously, who the fug cares what NFL Network says.  Once Cam is in the playoffs, everyone will be sucking his nuts.

I was watching NFLN last week and Jamie Dukes (my hate for him is never ending) was comparing a player to Sam Mills.  He then mentioned Sam Mills great career with the Saints.

Now I know Sam played for the Saints for much of his career but wow...I took that personally.  Sam has a statue in front of our stadium, his son is a coach, and we say "keep pounding" to this day because of him.  I'm not an expert on all the teams out there but if you're gonna bring up a player and compare him, know the history of said player.  Jeez.
