Brandon Moore would likely be a significant upgrade over Hangartner as he graded out very highly last season. That said, he is expecting to be paid like a talented veteran. At this point, I'd use a chunk of our cap space and bring him in. Cam's protection needs to be top priority.

How's DJ Moore doing?

Everyone is talking about the O-line, rightfully so, but I did zero in on the fact that our receiving corps seems to be what many of us thought they were.  Like I have harped on for years now: we are but one Smitty injury away from seeming disaster.

 

At 3pm today, we need to come on one accord, face the sun, kneel down in prayer and pray that Smitty gets through the season without injury... :P

 

I am thinking that it will be easier to fix the line, even if we don't do anything but get Wharton, but WTF are we gonna do at receiver? Hopefully Adams, Bersin or whoever can have a great showing with the first team.  I still don't believe it will be enough though.  With Zod's remarks about every TE not named Olsen being basicaly nondescript, we could always gamble the vet minimum on Kellen Winslow. 

 

I am trying not to go all Chicken Little, but it makes me nervous hearing tweets that belie my greatest fear.

How's DJ Moore doing?

According to a tweet, he is still behind captain for the nickel spot but Gettleman and Rivera like the fact that he is versatile (i.e. he can play corner, nickel, and safety).

It seems as if Dockery is the odd man out, he seems to be struggling.

Lol our best WR got the day off, our centerpiece of our oline got the day off and our d line is beast and people are worried that cam made a few mental errors. I wonder why...
