7/30 camp thread

not yet. It just worries me that he is 30+ and recovering from an ACL last year. Would he really be an upgrade or just for depth purposes

Honestly he'd be an upgrade in my mind. OL has a lot to do with chemistry between the guys on the line. Putting him back on that line might bring some chemistry and cohesiveness back and you can never have too much depth and experience.

this team desperately needs some more offensive players.

How nice would it have been if we hadn't dumped 90 mill into two RBs, got Tolbert/Barner for like a tenth of that price, and used the rest to add talented wideouts and blockers?

Freakin hurney, man.

Agreed but I think next off-season is when we bring in lots of help offensively. I could see us drafting a left tackle in the first, a receiver in the second, secondary in the third, TE in the fourth, and another weapon in free agency.

It'd be nice but are there any WR's out there thats worth it at this point? These are the top WR free agents

Brandon Lloyd

Laurent Robinson

Donald Jones

Randy Moss

Austin Collie

Deion Branch

Steve Breaston

Early Doucet

Brandon Stokley

Chad Johnson

Jabar Gaffney

Essentially combinations or old, slow, lazy and not worth the headache.

i don't think you're allowed to have a pick in all three of the first three rounds.

I'm over it now. I was a big Gettis fan, I understood missing all of 2011 with the torn ACL I knew he was rehabing and he'd be back in 12. Not playing at all last year and his performance this year in camp has me ready to give up on the guy. There's too much good competition at WR for me to be pulling for a guy who showed flashes three years ago. TToo many WRs that are fighting for a spot and it seems like Gettis just isn't

Yea I agree with you and I'm almost there as well on giving up on him especially with hearing how well Joe Adams is coming along.
