Carolina Panthers Training Camp Update

Well, two straight days now that I've seen pix of AMINI kneeling down to STAR.

With the visor Luke looks eerily similar to another tackling machine we had not too long ago.

OL remains my biggest worry as well.

That said, it won't surprise me if the team waits until week two to sign veteran help (saves money because you don't have to guarantee the full salary).

And again, nice work Zod.

 

Going against a Solid D-line everyday will help improve the O-line. 

Once Kugbila returns and settles into training camp we should see a great improvement.

Steve Smith signing autographs for Panthers Pals. It was a great day for the kids. Cam Newton requested they all go inside to meet him and get his autograph, too! The kids had a blast!

How hard is it to get your kid in the Panther Pals? I'm taking my 6 year old down with me tomorrow and this would make his year.

Interesting comment (I agree 100%) about Cam's maturity.  It is noticeable and it was needed.  So many people on here got mad and had hissy fits when I suggested (last year) that he needed to grow up.  Some held their breath in protest, while others trashed their parents' basement. 

 

I honestly believe that Cam is the reason we have not been repeating as a 2-14 team.  An immature Cam has been good for 4 wins a season, maybe 5.  A mature Cam who is a leader could get us to the playoffs.

A mature Cam does not some how make Nakamura not suck ass and blow the game in ATL, nor does it stop the refs from cheating us out of the Dallas game or Smitty from slipping against Chicago.

 

But the fact that we have been lack luster the past 2 years does mean it's time for Cam and the team to get down to business.
