They both had dreams last night :-) DeAngelo was the only player that complained about not being on the poster he said, "Man I'm not taking this photo Im not even up there." everyone close enough to here died laughing including D Will! These guy's were so cool and many times when I thanked someone for taking the time to spend with us they all replied, "no thank you for coming out and supporting us!" Wow what a day!

The 49ers remind me of the Jets from a few years ago. They were a powerhouse because of a truly dominant defense. Their defense has taken a step backwards, and with Crabtree out for the year and Kyle Williams still hurting, they are using Vernon Davis at WR and don't have much else. I predict they will take a step back this year, that we will beat them at their place, and that I will be stabbed during, or shortly after that game by a pissed off SF gangbanger. Guess what bitches, its gonna take more than a knife wound to the neck to bring down ol uncle montsta.

To be sure this post is training camp related, I'd like to say it seems our front 7 will dominate based on early camp reports, and that our secondary will provide our offense with many more opportunities due to doubling our takeaways from last year. Panthers SB Champs.

 

I'll be at that game ... bulletproof vest and all.

 

*btw - I'm coming from LA, you in the Bay area? Any tips on pregaming/tailgating/bars afterwards, etc?

Here is what happened to me and my family. I took my son, nephew and a couple of cousins down to training camp. I get Cam to sign my poster and I thought we were done but boy was I wrong. I had everyone in the truck and we were leaving and then I look over to my left while sitting at the stop sign leaving the parking lot and Greg Hardy is just standing there. I roll down my window and asked if he would mind signing my poster and the next thing I knew all the players started coming down stairs. I just left my truck sitting at the stop sign and the fun began. Enjoy!

Take away his 82 yard reception and he is averaging 1.3 catches per year for an average of 1.1 yards per game.

 

If he doesn't make it, someone should be able to make up the forty inches or so of slack on game day.

 

Having said that, I have no idea how we'll make up for the total 36 yards of punt returns he had in his 35 games or the pass he has completed once every 17 games.  

 

At least we won't have to replace his scoring - he has the same number of TD's that I do. 

 

Sorry for the rant - just don't get the fixation people have.

 

Not that I agree with the tone and/or lack of sentiment within your post, but pie for being amusing as hell. 

 

I am rooting for the kid, but I root for all of them. But, at the same time, if they don't make the cut, so be it.  At least they had a chance to play pro football.

I had to start laughing when the usual suspects started saying Gettis was done after dropping one ball. So you can bag on 8789 for being worried about injuries on one play and then applaud another idiot who says Gettis is done after dropping one pass. Hilariously pitiful lol. . .  and you should be ashamed of yourselves for listening or encouraging a notorious whiner in starting it. Thats just huddle noobing out right there and it was coming from huddle vets. Dont worry Ill be waiting for the next time any of you 3 or 4 jump on someone for making conclusions on one play.

 

When the lights come on we'll see whos got what. Rivera said he was having a good camp just day before yesterday, but now all of sudden he's not. Why? Cause a huddle vet said so, a huddle vet who is notorious for writing bullshit negative Chicken Little sky is falling bullshit. Why dont you guys wait until the first game before making yourselves look stupid again. Write me up a two page novel on how LaFell isnt that good and never will be while youre at it. I never get tired of that one, haaaaa.

So I guess you didnt understand the point of anything I said. I said we'll see when the lights come on. I have said OVER and over again that I think #12 has the tools but he has to not play scared. Zod said earlier that may not be the case and that he is slow to get up off the ground. THAT is good info not "he dropped a pass".

 

Get it or no? I hope Gettis makes the team, I think he has the tools but he has to be mentally ready to come back like TD was.
