Brandon Williams and Nelson Rosario

How have these guys looked in camp so far?

If we don't sign another TE, I really hope one of these guys can step up and make the roster. Both guys are huge.

#86 Williams: 6'4 250lbs

#80 Rosario: 6'5 245lbs

Would be an instant upgrade to Hartsock as the #2/3 TE. All they have to do is show that they can actually catch. Their size should put them at an advantage in run blocking.

If one or both of them can catch the football, I love nothing more than a big tight end. Going back to my alma mater, ECU has a 6'8 senior tight end in Justin Jones who although often injured makes a big impact on the game not because of his blazing athleticism, but because of the fact that no one on defense can guard him 1 on 1 and he can actually catch. That caused me to fall in love with big receivers, in a lot of cases more than crazy speedy ones. Gronk is another example of that.

I liked what I seen out of both of them yesterday. Williams seemed to be a lil stronger and had a slight advantage at blocking, over Rosario. Williams caught a couple, that I can remember. I didn't see anything jaw dropping. He did look solid tho.

Rosario caught a few balls and looked to be the best reciever at TE outside of Greg. I can remember atleast 3 good catches. I didn't notice his blocking.

Hartstock dropped a couple that I recall. Didn't really impress me in the receiving aspect. His blocking ability is really his forte.

Are you serious?  Watch harder.  Brockel is a tremendous blocker.

I understand that Rosario, a Wr in college, was 225 last year.

Dead serious.

Of 1,413 offensive snaps by the tight end position last year, Brockel played in only 67 snaps.

I understand his ST upside by I would much rather see his roster spot given to a real TE that could compliment Greg Olsen similar to when Shockey was around.

Williams has good open field after the catch agility and awareness. He looks the ball all the way in and seemed to find holes underneath and made himself available to the QBs even when they wanted to go deep. I like # 86. I kept an eye on him as much as I could. He's got as good of a shot as any to make this team.
